Redstone Content Solutions announced today that Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds visited the company’s corporate headquarters on Thursday, January 31, 2019.
Governor Reynolds often tours the state speaking with innovative entrepreneurial firms where she discusses ideas for improving the state’s workforce. Redstone has been a pioneer and is committed to the ongoing training of its software development employees.
"We were certainly humbled when the Governor’s office called saying that she would like to visit. We made sure Governor Reynolds witnessed the many technology innovations that our talented employees create every day," expressed John Klein, Principal, Redstone Content Solutions.
“The Amazon Echo Show demonstration with voice-activated search is an emerging content management capability that interests our customers,” stated Jason Stortz, Principal, Redstone Content, Solutions. “I feel that we hit the mark in showing the Governor what an Iowa-based technology company is capable of delivering.”
Governor Reynolds spoke about a new initiative that exposes young people to different career paths in the state.
“The more opportunities the State provides for young people to test different STEM career paths, we find out where their passion lies and sometimes that’s a certification, an apprenticeship or a 4-year degree. The sooner they get to test run these career paths, the sooner they’ll be better prepared, passionate and successful,” noted Kim Reynolds, Governor, State of Iowa.
