Redstone’s Distributed Index integration provides game changing WebCenter Content benefits for both end-users and system administrators. WebCenter search time is reduced for end-users from minutes or seconds to sub-seconds. Content Server index rebuild time is reduced for system administrators from months or weeks to days or hours. Distributed Index integration with WebCenter Content is intuitive for end-users, allowing businesses to implement the solution without employee retraining. By leveraging Distributed Index, dramatic improvements are realized, resulting in a measurable return on investment across the entire organization.
To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of customers. Redstone’s market research indicated that WebCenter Content customers sought improvements for both content search/retrieval and search index rebuild speeds. Distributed Index supports an unlimited number of documents and query terms. Distributed Index can be implemented quickly and optimizes search for end-users and system administrators.

Distributed Index supports an unlimited number of indices for horizontal and vertical scaling. Newly created indices can be created for specific content items or metadata and rebuilt without the need to restart the WebCenter Content Server. Additionally, real-time feedback is provided (Distributed Index estimates remaining index rebuild time).
